Visit the wildlife Garden at the Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum's Wildlife garden ia an urban haven for thousands of British plant ansanimal life in South Kensington. Divided into different areas, the garden recreates seven different habitats, in order to attract different species and givethem an opportunity to thrive.

The garden has previously been home to dragonflies, moorhens, moths, butterflies, foxes, robins, marsh marigolds, primroses, lime, bees and even sheep, and it is always abuzz with wildlife whenever you choose to visit.

Pick blackerries on Wormwood Scrubs
One of West London's best blackberry-picking spots, 200-acre Wormwood Scrubs is the biggest green space in Hammersmith and Fullham and one of the largest commons in London

Probably most famous foe being home to the Category B men's prison, which has hosted the likes of Keith Richards and Pete Doherty and was the setting for parts of The Italian Job, the Scrubs is also home to pony centre.

Cycle the Lee Valley
One of London's best off-road cycling routes follows National Cycle Route 1 through the Lee Valley Regional Park from Docklands to Tottenham and beyond.

The route passes Victoria Park, the Olympic site and Walthamstow Marshes, using a mixture of canal towpaths and cycle paths, making a lovely day trip with refreshment stops at the Markfiels Park Cafe, the Riverside Cafe and Tottenham's Ferry Boat Inn.
